12/25/05 Merry Fucking Christmas.

One evening in late December of 1981, a sociopath named David Bullock went to the apartment of an acquaintance named Herbert Morales. Morales was very proud of his Christmas tree, which he had taken great pains to decorate. While Bullock was there, Morales began adjusting some of the ornaments. As Bullock later explained to police, Morales "started messing with the Christmas tree, telling me how nice the Christmas tree was. So I shot him."

12/18/05 Trailer hangtime on bumpy roads.

A 5x10 box trailer was purchased by R.O.P. today. Touring is no longer an issue and it will happen after the first record is released and the tundra subsides. Hardcore fans......If you want to meet R.O.P. all you have to do is go to Wal Mart or Bennys in Raynham. You are guaranteed to find at least one of us hanging out there for no reason.

12/17/05 Floating Treasure.

Rehearsal night. Tightening up Prostitute Skin Suit and Death By Wall of Sound surrounded by a mockery of Emo and all of its components. Our drummer needs a shower. Tonight was the first time we sucessfully played through Skin Suit. There are still areas that need fine touching, but overall it's sounding great. We found places, rhythms and melodies for the words to One Eyed Willy's Treasure. Now it's time to write the words. Start rehearsing drums and guitars to Willy tomorrow. Yarrrrrgh! Also...Boyd and I will be starting our own independant metal record label. New goals for R.O.P. Put out as many independant records as humanly possible.

12/16/05 Insomnia revisited.

While you are sleeping, I'm awake practicing guitar and composing riffs. The best shit comes out in the early am hours. I think it's safe to say that the new record will contain Death By Wall of Sound, Prostitute Skin Suit, One Eyed Willy's Treasure, Decay By Failure and Upon The Night. I just finished composing a guitar solo and a few leads on Skin Suit. I'm very happy with the results of my work. That's rare. Get some sleep.

12/10/05 U2 Really Sucks.

I didn't want it to come to this..... All entries submitted into the guestbook need to be approved by the Webmaster before they will see a publising on this site. It's the only solution to the computer hacked in bullshit problem. Everyone feel free to write what ever you want, I will publish anything but computerized garbage. I just got back from rehearsal and Prostitute Skin Suit is sounding nice. Also in the works is One Eyed Willy's Treasure(another tune composed in the early makings last summer and finally deemed worthy). The first record (due to be released sometime in the late spring) is going to kick major ass. We are evolving as a band.

12/02/05 U2 Sucks.

The Merch page is up. Still working on pricing though. If you want any of this stuff right now, send me an email and we will work it out. The media page is fixed and I have added a new video of Empty Tombs of Unopened Graves. 2 new songs are being constructed in R.O.P. First one is Death By Wall of Sound, a song composed last spring time and finally became worthy. The second is Prostitute Skin Suit. The name has been juggling around in our heads for quite some time now and we have finally found the right riffs for it. It's a fast moving tune. Old skool speed metal style.

11/25/05 Emo Sucks.

Recording of the first R.O.P. professional demo will begin in January. It's all happening. I'm also still working on the merch page and trying to find someone on the internet that will sell our goods. I've recieved some info today about how internet sales happen and will look into it.

11/24/05 Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Birthday Joe. We are booking studio time to record a fresh demo. All of you who are waiting for CDs be patient. It's in the works. The webmaster has all your info and will mail them as soon as they are ready. We are not going to rush these recordings and are looking for excellence. Once this demo is complete we will continue writing nastier music for our first official record. Now....Go eat some turkey bitches.

11/13/05 Han in carbonite.

The Webmaster has fixed the guestbook. It should stay clean from bullshit computer hacked in lame one word comments now and it is linked properly. You still can't defeat me. Reign of Pestilence.com is being fixed and updated. Next show is The Compound in Fitchburg Ma this Thursday.

11/12/05 Let's see how much more shit we can add to the pile.

The guestbook is under some serious construction. I thought I had fixed it after some computer had hacked into it and had been leaving bullshit in it. Unfortunately it leads to a separate page. I'm trying to figure out the linking, so bear with me. I'm not a html genius, I'm just a dude that tried and failed.

11/10/05 The pile just gets higher and higher.

First post in a month. Internet lazyness, annoyance and hatred has a great deal to do with that. I have come to the conclusion that I will someday destroy two things: Myspace(aka. Gayspace) and A.O.L. Instant Messanger. I don't know how I am going to do it yet, but I'm sure it will happen someday. I'm going to start getting back into things on R.O.P.com. Revisions are going to be made on the site. About a month ago all the links fell apart and I only fixed the important ones. (When it all falls apart, Frustrates the mind, I don't think I'm gonna be alright, Scream for some release, The hatred grabs me and it pulls me down.) I will fix the rest soon. Also, I am going through video footage of a recent show. I will place the videos on the page and fix the old ones soon also. As far as plans for the band goes.... It's been agreed that we need to make a record. Doing what we are doing right now is a good thing, but at the same time it is the equivalent of bashing our heads against the walls. It's frustrating. More connections are being made for touring in spring and summer of 05, but it can't be done without the aid of a record. Also, the merch page will be fixed. The merch needs to be sold. Oh, one more thing. Aerosmith is no talent garbage. Thank you.

10/09/05 What am I supposed to do???

Furrow your left brow in pure confusion when you are asked to promote a show by making flyers. The pics from lasts nights show at The Crypt are on the pics page. Thanks to Sacreligion, Melt, and Whiskey Chapel. Nice sets last night guys. R.O.P. plays KC's Tap in Pawtucket tonight. We will be there for load in at 8 p.m. and our set time is undetermined at this point. See you all there for the dollar drafts.

10/05/05 This is Tony!!!!!

We just added a show for this Friday night in Everett Ma. at the Crypt. More info is on the show page. Pics of this past Sunday's Club 125 Bradford Ma. Hurricane Katrina Benefit show have been placed on the pics page. A small rehearsal will take place tonight in preparation for Everett, Providence and Worcester. Negotiations are taking place for R.O.P. to be featured on a metal compilation disc. You can not defeat me.

10/02/05 So, Pk.Pk. What da ya got? Pk.Pk.Pk.Pk.

I am the webmaster. Not you. I controll the guestbook. Not you. Go ahead and try to defeat me, for you will fail. I am the WEBMASTER. I dare you to write. More pics of The September 9 Jarrods show are up on the page. R.O.P. packed up gear and played Club 125 on the New Hampshire border today for two people. Beth, thanks for coming out and keeping the scene ALIVE. Next show is KC's tap in Pawtucket Rhode Island, next Sunday the 9th.

9/22/05 Autumn begins.

Well, Locobazooka is finally over and we can take things easier. We're tryin to simplify, tryin to make things easier. Pictures of the show are up on the pics page. We thank all the local and national bands that shared the stage with us that day and Beth Guerrette for taking photos. Fall shows are piling up and we are very happy to be out and playing. As far as the band goes, a well needed break for this week and a trip up to the mountains this weekend to chill as friends rather than business partners in crime.

9/15/05 Fitchburg...Ugh.. Thats in like.. Western Mass. Ughh.

The set time for Locobazooka will be 12:00 on the Harder Faster Stage. More shows for this fall are being added everyday and October is just about filled. See you all on Sunday.

9/10/05 I've got a candle.

Insomnia. It was a pleasure to share the stage at Jarrod's Place tonight with Dinij and Geezer Kill. A bunch of pics were taken at the show and will be posted on the pics page as soon as they are developed. The set was recorded and I have yet to hear it. Some of the tunes will be posted on the media page soon. R.O.P. will play Jarrod's again on November 5th. More shows for the fall season are in negotiations. Until then, listen to brutal death metal. You won't be disapointed.

9/06/05 Never Again.

We can finally say farewell to the Summer and look forward to the Autumn. Byzantine and Mushroomhead have been added on at Locobazooka. Thanks to all who have supported us in the purchasing of tickets to the show. Our set is tight and we are ready. We will see you all there on the 18th. In other news, some of the R.O.P. merchandise is here and I am working on the construction of the webpage for it. More shows for the fall are also in the works. Lyrics to the song Decay By Failure have been added on the lyrics page. The tune is written about how 2 members of the band ultimately fail at every attempt to create anything in life through art, music or the mind. NEVER AGAIN.

8/14/05 It's my time to fly.

R.O.P. was in the studio this weekend recording Jisi. The song was near finalized today. I think you all will be very impressed with the quality of this one. On the media page is a live version of Empty Tombs of Unopened Graves that was recorded last friday night. On other note, a very special thanks goes out to my friend Kay for helping out with the new graphics on the site, our buddy John for his recording help this weekend, and our friend Tommy for his recording last weekend. All of you, Thanks So Much.

8/02/05 Superhero comic book guy right on time To Save The Day.

Latest News.... R.O.P. will be playing on the WAAF Harder Faster Stage at Locobazooka. We will be playing our heaviest and fastest music and will be finalizing our set this weekend. You can listen to the Harder Faster show weeknights from 11 p.m. to 12 a.m. on 107.3 WAAF. Boston. Other news, recording live style demos of heavy songs on Friday night. This website is under constant construction every night and actually becoming an addiction of mine, so stay tuned for new stuff. Boyd and I are coming up with new ideas and techniques for webdesign that we had originally thought was just plain out of our element. It all begins now.

7/28/05 I give up. A Blatent Disregard.

Here are some more national bands announced for the Locobazooka festival. Life of Agony, Clutch, Ill Nino, Ten Years, Smile Empty Soul, Seemless, and Danko Jones. More to come. R.O.P. has started writing new material again, keeping things in a positive forward motion. Songs are getting faster, heavier and more complex. The possiblities are endless.

7/24/05 R.O.P. demos can be used as a drink coaster.

The All Asia gig was a success. The set was crushing and unbelievably tight. As far as lasts night's party is concerned, the police were out in full force once again and we didnt even get our chance to play. Backyard live music in 2005 interupts the citizens prime time Saturday night tv plans. Next show is in August. Working on the details right now.

7/15/05 Every heavy-metal song contains profanity.

Well, after meetings galore, extensive phone conversations and heavy decision making, R.O.P. has done it. We have sealed the deal and are officially on the bill to play this years Locobazooka United We Rock Festival in Fitchburg Ma. this September. Headlining the show will be the band Disturbed. There will be 40 other unsigned bands and over ten other national acts. For custom tickets to the show that say "Reign of Pestilence" email us and we will figure it out from there. 7/04/05 Four Score and Seven Years Ago.

Happy Independence Day, once again. R.O.P. has a meeting scheduled for next Wednesday in Worcester to go over the details for the extremely large show we have been invited to play in September. Right now, tightening up old songs, Reviewing areas that need work, and getting prepared for the 22nd. Also, ideas for small shows in our studio are coming about. Stay tuned.

6/29/05 God of War, Odin.

Things are looking quite positive for R.O.P. to be playing an upcoming HUGE show in the next few months. Stay tuned for more details.

6/19/05 No more nightmares.

If you have been issued a copy of the first demo or picked one up somewhere, Send an email to us if you have time. We appreciate all the feedback we can get whether it be negative or positive. Everything helps us make better music. Also if your email is interesting we will gladly post it on the website for others to read as well. Thanks.

6/18/05 Flying Suicide.

The background lyrics were finished today on Return to Haddonfield. They sound good and both were done in single takes. Some other vocal ideas were experimented on the chorus and then quickly scrapped. A plethora of demos have been burned and are being dished out for free all over the nation. Neil has unleashed 2 new tunes to be figured out and learned by R.O.P. We saw him play two of them a few hours ago. Lets just say they are scary, complex, and brilliant. Also, the one-week anniversary of the very mysterious and "Just Ridiculous" scene from last weekend happens tonight. Start celebrating.

6/13/05 There is a surprise on the beach in Marshfield.

Interesting weekend. 3 members of R.O.P. and a friend witnessed and experienced something that was "Just Ridiculous" this past weekend. Boyds vocals on Return to Haddonfield were completed in one take. Nice work. Next comes the backing vocals. Cargo shorts and a Zelda shirt seem like a nice beach score, but not this time.

6/05/05 Existance extremely uneventful.

The instruments are tracked for Return to Haddonfield. Friday nights session couldn't have gone any smoother. Tommy, you are the man. Next comes the vocal tracks which will consist of Boyd and I. More pics are being added to the pics page as I am recieving more by email. I am also working on the website upgrade to be able to have archieves of pics and videos of everything to come in the future.

6/02/05 That botch hurt my eye.

Wrotting and 312 have been placed on the audio/video page as windows media player files. The demo is being burned. We have been working on an un named new tune which has some weird time signature stuff throughout it. Recording Return to Haddonfield with Tommy on Friday night.

5/28/05 Bass lines can not be botched.

The Lyrics page is up and running. Hope you all enjoy it. A few pics have been added on the pictures page also. The demo was finally deemed burn worthy last night after the session. So lets just say the demo is done, ready to be copied and handed out. It contains Pest, Wrotting, and 312. Tommy, thanks so much for all the help and good work you have given us. We all truly appreciate everything you have done for us and really look forward to hanging out and recording more songs soon.

5/26/05 It was Jesus Christ!

We heard the new take of Wrotting last night. It is finally sounding good. A few more little tweaks on it and 312 and the demo should be complete. We are awaiting on the mastered version of Pest also. Hopefully, that version will sound much cleaner. The lyrics page is almost complete. A ton of work has been done on it in the past week and it is looking really cool. I can't wait to launch it. Next will come the photo page. There will be live pics of shows up there as soon as I recieve them.

5/22/05 Take a part of me.

So, a lot has been happening here with the website. The lyrics page is coming along and looking nice behind the scenes. It should be finished soon. 4 members of the band played in the rain under a haggard tarp setup yesterday. My guitar amp was electricuting me through my guitar because the ground broke off the plug. The cops were out in full force and happily responded to noise complaints before and after the amps were turned on. We got to play for about 45 mins untill they called and threatened to come make some arrests. An overall good time though. Well, back to more Web work. R.O.P. out.

5/19/05 The ending of the world.

4 new video clips of the Bogarts show on Friday the 13th have been placed on the media page. I will be placing more as soon as I have time. Also in the works is the Lyrics page which has been giving nothing but problems from the start because of Copyright issues. R.O.P. will be playing a private party this weekend celebrating a friend of the bands 21st birthday. Happy Birthday Andy, We are looking forward to it. The demos vocals are also still in the works.

5/15/05 Life of Filth, Left alone.

Good turnout at the Bogarts show. I think we all realized why bands usually only play for about 45 mins. that night. I know we were all just about dead by the 3rd set. The second one hit us pretty hard. Thanks to all the fans and friends who showed that night. We appreciate you all so much. Send your props out to Boyd for his strong 3 set effort on the vocals. Amazing job by the way. The first set was captured on video and I will be going through the footage to get some fresh clips for the audio/video page. As for the band goes, We took a break this weekend and we will be fixing our vocals for the demo soon. I also think its time to work on some new songs because Neil and I both have some in the bank.

5/12/05 Flying, Infesting, Multiplying.

Unfortunatly, there will be no demo handouts at the show tomorrow. We have all decided that we have rushed the vocals and wish to continue working on them to make them sound better. There will be 3 different sets tomorrow night. Each one is about 45-55 minutes. We are the only band playing and we are really looking forward to it. We are busy now adding the finishing touches to the stage props. Hope to see you all there.

5/9/05 Its a Peavey, an old Workhorse!

The demo vocals were completed this weekend. Boyd, Tony, and Tommy will be mixing them tonight. Hopefully we find no problems afterwards and we can move on. The plan is to have a plethora of free cds to give away at the Bogarts/Our Place show. The demo will contain 3 tunes, Pest, 312, and Wrotting. On other note, we have been working on the set for Friday night and are quite ready to rip it up.

4/28/05 Closets can be sweaty places sometimes.

The vocals on 312 were started tonight. There is much more work to be done. Harmonies will be done next. Also, the instruments sound good but need a little more tweaking. Prop ideas for the upcoming show on the 13th of May have been discussed. Within the next 2 weeks we will bring them to life in a jokingly fasion.

4/22/05 Cuts in your skin make your blood leak.

Studio recording night. All the instruments are done on 312 and Wrotting. Boyd and Bryan will start and finish the vocals soon. Also, R.O.P would like to thank everyone who attended the Johnson Vt. show last weekend. Thanks for coming out and keepin the scene ALIVE. Our next show is Friday the 13th of May at the bar formerly known as Bogarts in Bridgewater. I will hook up a link with directions coming from the Cape and other spots in Massachusetts in the next few days.

4/14/05 Uuhh?! These vicodan give me dry-mouth.

A downloadable version of Pest has been placed on the Audio Page. It should download smoothly now. The version that was up there for the last few days was coded incorrectly but the problem has been corrected. Enjoy. I will be adding more video footage to the page today so stay tuned for that also. On other note, The Reign will fall in Johnson Vt. at 10:45 tomorrow night. R.O.P. out.

4/6/05 When the prisoners attack.

Here's what's happening. Boyd will enter the soundbooth today to do the vocals to Pest. The instruments have been being mixed and from what we hear, they sound good. The tune will be finished after tonights session and will hopefully be burned by this weekend. Then comes the recording of the next song sometime soon. It will be 312 or Wrotting. Also, a small studio video clip has been added to the A/V page. More Videos and Audio coming soon.

4/2/05 Tic tacs sound like prescription pills.

Studio recording day. The guitars, drums, and bass are done on Pest. No vocals were recorded today due to Boyd's sudden cold. We will finish the vocals this week and then the tune will be mixed. As soon as everything is done it will be posted on the media page. On other note, the bio page is almost complete. Tonight we will be working on it and also on the gear page. Stay tuned for more details.

3/31/05 The Taunton river is at high tide.

This is the first news post of many to come in the future. This website is still in its construction phase so bear with me. Work on a new tune called Sadistic. It is fast and has changes that come out of nowhere. The chorus is extremely catchy. It has a bridge that has 2 guitars playing intervalic lines in harmonies. The lyrics fit the tune perfectly and stick right in your head. This Saturday 4/2, studio demos being recorded. What ever we get will be posted on the media page hopefully that night or Sunday.
